It's Christmas time in the city

Thank goodness for the ber months! I am thankful because the climate becomes cooler and I can bear walking around. The streets come alive with the Christmas lanters popularized in Pampanga, with their synchronized light displays that sure to bring color to any window.

Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club a.k.a. where was I during my birthday?

Our company had our yearly golf tournament last October 28 at the Isao Aoki Course in Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club at General Trias, Cavite. I was part of the advance party, so off we went on the 27th. This was also my birthday, so I spent it working. Bwahuhuhu.

The clubhouse was a dream. Japanese-inspired architecture. It was but a fleeting moment though that we were able to appreciate the clubhouse because we still had a lot of things to do for the big day. Call it the perk of being part of the organizing team. :-)

At any rate, my boss greeted me on my birthday, and a couple of days before, management treated all October celebrants to lunch and gave us gifts! Nice, huh?

As always, my heartfelt thanks to those who lent a helping hand to the event!

I would have been nice to simply sit in the comfy sofa at Microtel Inn and watch TV but we got work to do. Bwahuhuhu.

Were arrived in the afternoon of October 27 (happy birthday to me bwahuhuhu). Here's the team having dinner.

Dinner was being served in the bar. We did not have drinks. Chu and I only had one bottle of San Mig Light each. Bwahuhuhu

We worked til past midnight so there was really no chance to celebrate my birthday. Bwahuhuhuhu.

The urban legend car

Meowok once posted a photo about this pink Honda car that frequents their neighborhood with a Spoon sticker on it. I wondered if it's one and the same. At any rate, here is the photo taken from our neighborhood:
